2 de maio de 2018Mulheres no underground Rock n Roll: onde pogam? Onde tocam? O que fazem além de segurar casacos durante os shows?
Dia 23 de abril de 2018 estive em Nova Iguaçu (Baixada Fluminense/RJ) numa roda de conversa produzida pelo Rock Pense com mulheres produtoras de cultura underground no Rio e Baixada Fluminense/RJ. Havia mulheres do cinema , do Hip Hop, do Rock, da liderança LGBT, do movimento feminista negro, do Funk, da nova MPB, da organização de eventos, dentre outros seguimentos de cultura e resistência urbana. Cheguei tarde na roda e ouvi poucas falas como também tive pouquíssimo tempo para dizer de onde venho, de onde falo, o que produzo atualmente. Dentre as presentes, além de mim (Festival Hippie Punk Beatnik e banda Ramyrez 77 ), só vi do meio Rock n Roll a Deise Santos (Portal Revoluta), Iolly (Banda Gente) e a Paula Puga (Toca a Cena), a primeira conheci rapidamente numa festa em 2013, a segunda e terceira ano passado pela internet apenas, até então. E mesmo tendo ouvido e conhecido a história de poucas ali, confirmou-se que nossas narrativas pessoais são atravessadas por uma questão estrutural, coletiva: o machismo. Que produz invisibilidade, silenciamento, descrédito, falta de oportunidade e incentivo, assédio e abuso (no convívio com homens dentro de suas respectivas cenas). Foi emocionante e fortalecedor aquele encontro. Nessas horas a gente tem certeza de que não está só!
Ah! mas por que um evento só de mulheres pra falar de produção cultural? Ah, mas isso é separatismo! Ah, mas é vitimismo! Ah, mas é mimimi …
Explico: não nos sentimos representadas na cena atual. No geralzão ainda “só dá” os ÔMIS. No geralzão, se não for uma situação específica não tem mulher para além das companheiras/namoradas conversando enquanto os rapazes curtem o evento. Percebeu como são poucas as bandas com mulheres em flyer; naquele selo independente maneirão; no pogo (eu não vou chamar aquela merda de mosh pit nunca)? Como estamos representadas nas músicas e nos clipes? Quantas mulheres tem seus próprios selos, produtoras, eventos, sites? Ainda estamos longe de dividir equânimemente a cena.
“Já deu” da gente fingir que isso não acontece! Acredito que um dos motivos das bandas PUNK RIOT GIRL em sua maioria ter vocal no grito ser o fato de que a gente tá MUITO bolada, muito cansada disso tudo! E por isso aumenta também o número de coletivos femininos/feministas dentro da cena Rock das cidades. É que se a gente não se apoiar nunca vai desenvolver potencialidades e usufruir de direitos. É um meio ainda MUITO hostil para a mulher se ela não está ali para consumo masculino.
E olha que até agora só falei de mulheres que conseguiram formar uma banda, ir para um show ou agitar a cena de outra forma. Essas ainda estão ali ao menos, visíveis. Mas a grande maioria das mulheres que curtem Rock não está em evidência ou desistiu da música, também sabe por quê (além do clássico “não é coisa pra mulher”)? As que não vemos, e eu já fui uma delas, estão em casa lavando as cuecas dos irmãos, preparando a janta pros maridos, olhando o filho enquanto o marido vai pra farra. Estão trabalhando em 2 empregos pra dar conta de sustentar os filhos que os homens abandonam, não pagam pensão e depois ainda postam foto no FB como pai do ano. Lutando uma luta diária por sobrevivência onde não cabe a arte (nem a música, que o pessoal do Choque de Cultura disse que não é arte! huahuahuahua).
Pensando nos recortes sociais de classe e de cor, a gente percebe que as mulheres que estão produzindo, tocando ou curtindo os points, apesar de tudo, estão em situação de privilégio em relação às demais. Seja porque nasceu em família abastada ou que apoia a música, porque pôde aproveitar oportunidades que surgiram pelo caminho ou – no meu caso- tiveram que esperar ter um emprego mais estável, filho crescido, separar-se ou casar novamente, estudar muito, trabalhar muito para começaaaar a produzir algo. É necessário reconhecer isso e apoiarmos umas às outras também nessa direção de puxar quem “está fora” e quer entrar. Bons exemplos disso aqui no Rio é ver acontecer a oficina de bateria para garotas, da HIT HAT Girls da qual Julie Souza é instrutora e o espaço MOTIM gerido por mulheres, dentre elas Letícia Lety, no qual prevalece produção e público feminina.
Por muito tempo eu quis estar fazendo algo mais do que pogando nas gigs, sei bem do caminho longo que fiz, de todos os sonhos e projetos que tive de adiar. Agora não adio mais. Falando nisso, lembrei de um lance. Estava eu, na rua Ceará, ano passado, apresentando a segunda edição do Festival Hippie Punk Beatnik (que organizo em parceria com meu esposo), explicando ao público do que se tratava o evento. Eu dizia que o festival tinha por objetivo abrir espaço para bandas autorais, misturar estilos e gerações e proporcionar uma roda na qual as mulheres pudessem entrar sem medo (de ser alisada, quebrada, tomar dedada e apertão). Um dos integrantes da banda que tinha acabado de se apresentar ficou em pé atrás de mim guardando os equipamentos e falando ao meu ouvido “besteira”,”as mulheres podem entrar em qualquer roda”, “nada a ver”… E eu, ao microfone, comecei a discutir com ele! Um absurdo essas coisas que a gente tem de aturar.
Depois daquela noite, tive certeza que além de fortalecer a cena autoral, unir gerações & estilos, o festival que organizo tem de estar pautado em fomentar a atuação da mulherada no que chamo de 3Ps: produção, palco e pogo. Esta é minha forma de contribuir. E assim foi a edição seguinte, e assim serão as próximas!

A gente que vem daquela cena de Garage, Bar da Rosa e afins sentiu na pele o preconceito, o desrespeito, misoginia de estar inserida num meio que prega contrasenso mas que na verdade sempre foi bastante contraditório no “pegapacapar”. Cercado de maluco babaca, machista e ainda por cima, você consegue enxergar nos dias de hoje conservadores dentro do meio. O que pra mim é questão de falta de interpretação desses seres. Quer pagar de santo vai pra igreja! Eu hein! 🤘🏻

Uhuuul, mulheres no poder… Sou a favor. Rs! A verdade é que homem faz muita merda. Eu sei pq sou homem e apesar de tentar ser diferente da maioria, também cometo meus deslizes. Logo, não estou me excluindo de meus próprios erros e pecados. (Não que eu esteja me diminuindo ou diminuindo o genero dos homens em geral, pois acredito que pessoas, homens e mulheres cometem muitos erros, afinal, somos humanos), mas acredito que o mundo precisa entrar em melhor sintonia, em melhor harmonia e em maior equilibrio. Infelizemente o machismo é como se fosse uma espécie de doença (talvez um cancer que se espalha popela maior parte do mundo e do qual o mundo deve se curar. (Ele mantém a mente das pessoas muito alienadas e quem não tem a capacidede de se livrar desse mal e expandir a sua propria mente, igualmente se priva de evoluir). Todos temos que ser mais tolerantes, aceitarmos que o mundo está passando por mudanças e que essas mudanças podem privilegiar a todos nós e que só assim poderemos experimentar um gostinho da paz. Bom, foi mal pelas palavras que talvez tenham sido meio desconexas. Depois de um dia inteiro de trabalho e já às 21hs fica meio dificil organizar meus pensamentos e deixar tudo mais coerentes no meu modo de me expressar. Rs!
